THE BRAINLESS CORPSE IN VELVET
GLEEFULLY ALIVE
My favorite food is spoonfuls of oil.
My favorite dessert is tablespoons of sugar.
My favorite drink is instantly black as night,
And it tastes like garbage.
But I still love having breakfast in the evening.
My house is made of cardboard,
Every number except seven, no faces
No suits either, unluckily heartless and lifeless.
Nothing to eat, I’m all out of chips.
Delightfully, I’ll go fish.
I can go outside and join the masquerade.
Or I can stay inside my house of cards,
Eating corny spoonfuls of sugar and oil,
Sipping my poisoned black drink,
I’ll always choose the latter.
After all, who needs to climb it?
It’s just another day in paradise,
Gleefully alive.
